Artsite Gallery is a contemporary art gallery tucked away in The Camperdown Arts Precinct of Sydney and is one of the most celebrated art spaces in the city.

One of the most alluring things about this gallery is that it is housed in a classic Art Deco building, whose charming style is reminiscent of the classic design in the 1940s. In addition to this, the gallery has two expansive exhibition spaces, as well as a browsing gallery.

Look out for both the solo and curated group exhibitions that showcase works of art from both upcoming and established artists in the city. Note that Artsite Gallery is the artists’ agent, and as such, any works of art to be bought are purchased directly from the artist.

The Stockroom allows visitors to browse different works of art to make a purchase. The works available are presented on various mediums and at different rates. Works are rated as follows: works of art below $1000, between $1000 and $2500, between $2500 and $5000 as well as those above $5000. Check out the gallery’s event calendar to find the perfect time to plan your visit, as there are often special events held here throughout the year.

Artsite Gallery is located on Salisbury Road and is easily accessible from the CBD. Take bus routes 412, 413, 438 or 480 and get off on Parramatta Road close to Australia Street. From here, Camperdown is a short walk to Salisbury Road from where the gallery is just 100 meters away.

Alternatively, make your way to Stanmore Railway Station on foot and exit on Percival Street Side before walking for a minute to Salisbury Road and eventually to the gallery. Note that bicycle parking is available at the parking ring on the Salisbury Road side of the Artsite Gallery.
