The park is in a prime position to enjoy spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge from the water’s edge.

One of the park’s main features is the large sculpture located at the site where Tank 101 once stood. The feature is designed from panels made of curved sheets of steel salvaged during the demolition process. In addition to this large frame, eight wind turbines were constructed to trap wind power and provide energy to light the park at night.
In addition to Tank 101, Ballast Point Park also displays an array of local artefacts obtained from the Meneiva site. These artefacts are enclosed in glass to protect them from damage but are indeed a wonder to behold. A walk through the park reveals several walled areas where upcycled materials have been used and are enclosed by love/friendship padlocks.
The park offers walking and cycling paths, BBQ facilities, toilets, and a playground, as well as limited parking spaces.
