Easton Park

Easton Park is a popular park combining a sports field and a children’s playground, making it a great spot to chill and enjoy a lazy afternoon. Proclaimed as a park in 1890, the facility has since become a quiet place to escape from life’s daily routines.

The land was initially made available as part of a grant at the turn of the 19th century and is today a favourite playground for the community. Thanks to the provision of different facilities, there are several fun things to do at the park.

With multiple features such as fort climbs, monkey bars and slippery dips, this is the ideal place to discover and explore. The playground is also fenced to secure the little ones, and even sunshades keep you out of the sun.

As the children play, the adults enjoy the multi-purpose sports field. Most notably, the field has a cricket pitch right in the middle, giving cricket fans a perfect opportunity to hit a few balls around. Visitors can also have a game of soccer, a favourite winter sport in the area.

Other amenities at the park include toilets, a drinking fountain, change rooms, and picnic tables. There is also a canteen onsite to grab a quick snack.

Dogs are allowed in the park, but visitors must look for off-leash areas where dogs can play freely. Dogs must be on a leash around the playground but are not allowed in it. There are also dog bag dispensers for convenience.

Easton Park is on Lilyfield Road between Burt Street and Denilson Street in Rozelle.
