The gallery, under the leadership of Tim Olsen, has taken on artists fresh out of art school and has helped establish their career to become renowned artists in the field.
One of the most popular artists from the Olsen Irwin Gallery stable is John Olsen. Considered one of the country’s most prolific artists, John’s work has been featured at many different exhibitions. Other artists from the gallery include Sophie Cape, Robert Klippel, Kathryn Ryan, as well as Peter Vandermark. Look out for excellent works and exhibitions held from time to time by Nicholas Harding.
Some of the popular exhibitions that have been held in the past include Laura Jones, Mclean Edwards, and Martine Emdur. Look out for resource material in the videos and publications made available at the gallery.
The gallery is also working towards creating a dialogue to incorporate exhibitions by leading artists from other continents in the future; including America, Europe and Asia. At the core of these partnerships is the need to enhance the development of collectors to create a vibrant art scene for the local community.
