Many features set One Central Park apart from other buildings and precincts in the city, with the building receiving international awards thanks to its unique features. The most visible among these is the vertical hanging gardens.
The gardens, which drew inspiration from the working partnership between renowned botanist Patrick Blanc and architect Jean Nouvel, features an array of flowers and vines that span more than 50 meters high. With more than 23 green walls, it is easy to see why these towers are a notch above the rest. The plants are made up of both native and exotic plants – from the most common to the rare species. The use of hydroponics to grow the plants retains the structural integrity of the building as the soil is not used.
Another defining feature at the iconic One Central Park is the cantilever and heliostat. This is not only an integral part of the overall design, but its purpose is to reflect light to the atrium, pool area and other communal parts of the park. At night, the design converts to provide state-of-the-art LED lighting.
Other features include a water recycling plant and a power plant for sustainability. Amenities include a private gym exclusive that’s for residents, a spa and heated pool, as well as concierge services.
