Rouse Hill House & Farm is a historic property located about an hour’s drive from Sydney. The spot is a popular destination for visitors who’d love to explore life as a local in a property whose history spans more than a century.
Rouse Hill was founded by Richard and Elizabeth Rouse in 1813 and has been used by six generations of the same family. Visitors can expect to find interesting artefacts, antique furnishings, as well as buildings that can be traced back to the era when the farm was established.

Explore the expansive farm, its solid stables and the summerhouse to enjoy the experience – the best way being to take a guided tour. Due to the fragility of the property, access to the house is only possible through a guided tour and bookings must be made in advance. Note that tours are offered alongside special events held onsite from time to time.
Pass by the shop to take home a reminder of your visit to one of Sydney’s most amazing cultural destinations; including gifts, cards, souvenirs and books. The farm is also available for hire and is ideal for weddings, corporate events and photography.
Rouse Hill House & Farm is accessible using 356 Annangrove Road in Rouse Hill. There are buses from Parramatta, Blacktown and the CBD.
