All About Women

The All About Women event celebrates ideas and themes around feminism and empowerment for women in Australia and internationally.

Celebrate International Women’s Day with our unmissable one-day program of talks, panels, films, workshops, and contemporary art exploring themes of identity, history, technology, resilience, feminist futures, sex work, mindfulness, power, cinema and more as they intersect with the female experience.

The program offers discussions, live podcasts, panels, and workshops annually. Food and drink are also celebrated through demonstrations and lessons in pickling and gin distilling. These lessons also highlight the themes and ideas around how food brings people together.

The program lineup is designed to make visitors think and push their boundaries. All About Women is a vibrant festival that questions gender, justice and equality. The program is necessary for anyone curious about the past and future of feminism.

The festival has 14 unique events, with an inspiring line-up of female-identifying storytellers, thinkers and game-changers ready to hit the important topics head-on and in a thought-provoking way.

Visitors are welcome to join the panel of incisive commentators to examine the emboldened ways feminism responds to politics and world events. There are also more humorous talks, which are equal parts informative, uncomfortable, and giggle-inducing and break down taboos.
