Due to several circumstances and after careful deliberation, the management made the difficult decision to cancel the 2024 event. They look forward to reconvening next year with renewed vigour and spirit for CREF 2025.

Chand Raat is a multicultural celebration that signifies the culmination of the fasting month of Ramadan and the eve of Eid-Al-Fitr in the Islamic Calendar.
It is an inclusive family cultural event designed for people of all backgrounds to attend. The event features activities such as henna/face painting, food stalls, amusement rides, community organisation booths, and captivating stage performances.
The guiding principle behind the event is “Promoting Culture, Harmony & Friendship”.
Prince Alfred Square is bounded by Church Street, Victoria Road, Marist Place and Market Street in Parramatta. It is close to the Riverside Theatres and Parramatta’s Visitor Centre.
Public Transport Options
Ferry: Parramatta Wharf is a 50-minute ride by Rivercat Ferry from Circular Quay. It is a 10-minute walk from the Wharf along the River Foreshore Walk.
Train: Parramatta Station is situated on the Western, Cumberland and Blue Mountains lines. If travelling on Northern or Southern lines change at Strathfield. It is a 15-minute walk down Church Street.
Bus: Take the 600, 601 and 606 buses from Parramatta Station and Interchange, Stand A4 and alight at two stops at Victoria Road before Marist Place. The Parramatta Free Shuttle Bus 900 stops at Marsden Street, Prince Alfred Square.
