Field Day is a massive music festival held on New Year’s Day in The Domain Gardens annually.
With a huge line-up of international acts, Field Day is a great way to start the new year with the sun shining and plenty of live music.
Field Day 2025, Sydney, Festival Date, Tickets, Artist Lineup & Set Times
Field Day specialises in party music, a high-quality mix of house, hip-hop, indie and electronica. There have been some rather large Field Day lineups, but they might have just outdone ourselves this time – check it out!
Last year attracted some of the biggest artists in the world, including Rüfüs Du Sol, Central Cee, Cassian, Claptone, Cobrah, Conducta, Destroy Lonely, G Flip, Genesis Owusu, Isoxo, Knock2, Logic1000, Luude, Mall Grab, Notion, Riton, Romy, and many more.
Please understand that Field Day is a licensed venue. Police and liquor licensing require that every person who comes to the event have a photo ID. To ensure quick entry, please ensure your photo ID and ticket are ready for presentation at the gate. Digital IDs will be accepted; however, please ensure your phone battery will last the day, as a flat battery will mean you will no longer have a valid ID.
You will also have your belongings checked for restricted items and may be subjected to metal detection and/or pat-down tests for concealed weapons and other prohibited items.
As it is a fully licensed event, there is no BYO. The bars will provide a range of alcoholic drinks (full, mid and low-strength) and non-alcoholic options, including bottled water.
Field Day is 100% cashless. The terminals accept Visa, Mastercard, and EFTPOS and can be processed via tap (PayPass, payWave, tap and go), swipe, or chip insert, but they do not accept Diners or AMEX. There will be a variety of food stalls at Field Day, offering a wide range of snacks and meals.
There will be many free water outlets at this event, with some chilled and some undercover. Complimentary water and cups will also be available at all alcohol service points.
