You can buy tasters from every stand or go for a full pour if you find something you like. Many stands will be running games, activities and competitions as part of the fun. Get amongst it!
Feast on mouth-watering goodies at the GABS Street Food Market. As always, they’re proud to have some of the city’s best street food trucks serving the perfect treats to pair with your chosen brew.
At GABS, sampling is the name of the game. To make the most of this unique experience, sample as many different brews as possible. 85ml taster glasses are available for any brew, and you can buy five in one go. If you find one you like and want more of it, you can step up to a 285ml glass.
You can also learn how to brew your own from the experts at GABS. There’s also live entertainment, plenty of food, and a disco. It’s a popular event, with the day divided into two sessions.
You can pre-book your tickets online (recommended) or take a chance and buy them there. Buying them online is cheaper, and you’ll avoid the risk of missing out. Group discounts are also available online.
Getting There
Parking
ICC Sydney has two car park facilities, located within the Exhibition Centre and ICC Sydney Theatre, comprising 826 car spaces. There are also secure car parks in and around Darling Harbour, including Wilson Harbourside Car Park and First Parking Darling Square Car Park.
ICC Sydney operates two 24-hour car parking stations with 826 parking spaces, including 12 accessible parking bays, 25 motorcycle parking spaces, 50 bicycle racks, and 25 electric car charging spaces.
The two car park facilities are in the Exhibition Centre (Car Park 1) and ICC Sydney Theatre (Car Park 2).
Electric Charging bays
ICC Sydney has 20 electric car charging bays in Car Park 1, and ICC Sydney Theatre has 5 on Level 1 in Car Park 2.
Event Deck
Access to the Event Deck as a thoroughfare for members of the public is usually possible between sunrise and sunset. Occasionally, access will be temporarily restricted in line with scheduled event operations. On those occasions, signage is displayed ahead of time to advise the public of the upcoming closure period.
Sydney Light Rail
The Light Rail travels right through several Darling Harbour stations, including ICC Sydney’s stops, Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre. The Light Rail starts at Central Station in the CBD and travels to Dulwich Hill in the inner west.
Metro
A short walk from Central or Gadigal Station will take you directly to the Darling Quarter Visitor Centre.
Airport
Darling Harbour is only 8km from Sydney Airport.
Water Taxi
A Water Taxi is a great option for getting to and from Darling Harbour—Water Taxis depart from The Rocks, Circular Quay, The Opera House and Luna Park.
Train
A short walk from Central or Town Hall will take you directly to Darling Quarter, Tumbalong Park and Sydney Visitor Centre. Town Hall and Central Stations are a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney.
Ferry
Cruise into Darling Harbour on a ferry from Circular Quay and alight at Barangaroo Wharf or Pyrmont Bay Wharf.
Bus
ICC Sydney has its own bus stop. Bus routes 389 and 501 stop at Harris Street near Allen Street – a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney.
Taxi and Uber
The best taxi and Uber drop-off and pick-up locations are the new Iron Wharf Place next to Harbourside Shopping Centre and Zollner Circuit on the southern end of ICC Sydney Theatre, both accessed via Darling Drive.
Walking
Sydney is host to beautiful recreational and coast walks. Routes to ICC Sydney include from Central Station via The Goods Line.
Bicycle
Bike racks are available in Exhibition Car Park 1, including male and female shower and change room facilities. Personal locks are required.
