The Pyrmont Festival is an annual event that showcases the best wines from the NSW wine regions alongside various creative and artistic works.

The festival is a community-run event that fosters a strong connection with the country and the city. This year, we celebrate the 13th Pyrmont Festival. We welcome all parts of the community to this important festival.

Anticipate a sensory explosion with over 20 wineries, breweries and distilleries alongside gourmet food trucks and stands offering a smorgasbord of cuisines.
There will be many food providers across a wide variety of cuisines, including Cheeky Naked Oysters and the German food truck Knuckles 2 You.
This year, you will be surrounded by Sydney’s favourite food trucks, freshly made paella, a pizza bar, and local cuisines that will surely satisfy you. If there’s a will, there’s a way, and we have every cuisine covered in our 2025 lineup of food stands!
Painting classes at the Pyrmont Festival can be booked for Saturday or Sunday. This is a great way to enjoy the creative part of the Pyrmont Festival.
This is a family-friendly event where everyone is welcome. The Kids’ Zone showcases a jumping castle, large-format games, and face painting. It’s sure to be a hit with the kids. Plus, there is a parent’s chill zone where you can grab a wine and some food and watch the kids play in the kid’s zone.
This year’s festival features a full lineup of local musicians and bands. Live music will surround the Festival at both the Harbour View and Sunset Stages. This is a great way to relax, enjoy the food and wine on offer, and support our local musicians.
We welcome your fur babies to the Festival in Pirrama Park. Please keep them on a leash at all times so everyone can enjoy the day. Lord Mayor Clover Moore always brings her two dogs to enjoy the festivities.
The park has shaded areas for visitors and lots of open space. It’s near the waterfront boardwalk, perfect for walking off the calories.
The Pyrmont Art Prize awaits artists who enter the competition. Everyone is welcome to join, whether you are a professional or hobby artist. Pieces go up for display and sale for the community to see, a great chance for budding artists to get their names out there. The entry fee for artists is $25; all works must be on a stretched canvas no larger than 20″ x 20″; unframed, no glass.
