Semi Permanent Sydney 2025 Event Dates, Address Location & Tickets
Semi Permanent will again bring together the creative industries across the Asia Pacific for three full days of inspiring keynote talks, panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations, installations, and more.
Many talks and programs delve into important and timely cultural subjects, including futurism, feminism, First Nations culture, accessibility, sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
This event will present new ideas, products, and technology, and a range of interesting speakers will discuss their design experiences. In past years, famous speakers have included Director Oliver Stone, the design team from Apple, Facebook photographers, the design head of MONA gallery, and the non-profit conservation group Sea-Shepherd. There is so much variety, and the line-up changes each year, offering something different to attendees.
The talks and exhibitions are typically ticketed events. The main events are scheduled at Carriageworks, located near Sydney University. Parking is available at the university, Seymour Centre, and Australian Technology Park, which is a little further away. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Getting There
Carriageworks is also easily accessible by public transport. Take a train to Redfern Station or take a bus and alight at Codrington Street, close to Sydney University.
